A nice looking website is all well and good, but unless potential customers can find it it's not really worth doing in the first place.

Getting good rankings in Google takes time and patience, and you should beware of companies that guarantee you first page listings immediately. SEO is a constantly changing and evolving science but Google has some good guidelines to be followed and some of them are very simple:

• Build a clean website (in terms of the coding, not necessarily your choice of content!)
• Write good content that is unique to you and not regurgitated from somewhere else
• Get some good links to your site

I do not profess to be an expert SEO, those people are few in number and obsessive in their passion for getting results. However, I do not build a site without considering how it looks to both your potential customers and to Google. Whilst I am not an expert, I can offer some excellent demonstrable results.
